Magnificent and lovely location, and meals were fantastic!!!

We were upgraded to queen room with personal touches which added to the charm on check in. Location: the hotel was really close to vineyards to visit, routes to take, restaurants to book.

Pastries, fruit, and cheese for breakfast were much appreciated. The people working in the hotel were service-oriented.

It was recently refurbished, family-friendly and with sofa. Location: the hotel was adjacent to Franschhoek, near the tram station and the main street, all the shops and famous restaurants, and the lovely shops and restaurants of Franschhoek. The personnel was very competent and best.

Scrumptious breakfast, incredible views, unbeatable location short walk to restaurants and places and the center of Franschhoek. Newly renovated rooms with really nice beds, good value. A lot of facilities like: a coffee/tea maker and a kettle.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Ashbourne. The location was perfect, with the town center and wineries within walking distance. Tim and Nadine truly make you feel at home, going above and beyond with personal touches like a welcome drink and a hot water bottle on cold nights. The breakfast was outstanding, the rooms were comfortable, and the house and garden were beautiful. Tim even took the time to give us great advice for our short stay. Highly recommend!

This was a warm stay in Winter. The room was lovely sized and had a lovely view over The Valley. There was a large. Good and fab location, it was so close to restaurants and day trips as well as the centre of town. It also was close to center of town.

The service offered was first-class, the room was stylish and heated with breakfast on the verandah and biscuits. The atmosphere created was quiet.

Everything was perfect during 3 days, really enjoyed its particularly good and fab location near to arranged taxis for the out of town venue, the shops and restaurants in Franschhoek and the village centre and restaurants. The staff and the host were all extremely friendly and excellent. We got stylish triple room with great views as an upgrade, nice gesture.

We had a great stay here! Tim and Nadine are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable - they really made us feel at home. The property is relaxing and the rooms are comfortable. We loved the breakfast and the friendly staff. Tim's communication before our arrival was excellent and the attention to detail was second to none. The complementary fruit and sweets in our room were a nice touch. The manageress and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The price was very reasonable.

thanks a lot for the really really nice stay in franschhoek in winter. it has well-appointed and stocked rooms with tea/coffee and coffee. the gourmet restaurant in the hotel is good for dinner.

I had an incredible stay at Ashbourne House Guest House. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The owners, Tim and Nadine, went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable experience. They provided excellent recommendations for local wineries and restaurants, and their attention to detail was evident in the beautifully appointed rooms. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with fresh bread, homemade marmalade, and local trout. The location of the guest house was perfect, close to the town center but in a quiet suburb. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio with a cappuccino in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. I highly recommend Ashbourne House Guest House for a perfect stay in Franschhoek.

This place is in a peaceful and tranquil area. The comfort triple room had amenities such as heating, a sofa bed, and an iron. The staff were attentive and the host was exceptional. It is convenient, just a short 5-minute walk to the bus stop.

I appreciated the fact that great and excellent breakfast included slices of fresh bread, granola, pastries, fruit and cheese. Everything here was well-maintained, I will be back.
